Who uses Steel
Steel is a low-level runeword for swords and axes, requiring level 13 and two sockets. It is easy to make and useful for early melee characters. It provides enhanced damage, bonus to minimum and maximum damage, attack rating, and increased attack speed. The 50% chance of open wounds is a strong mod for low-level play, and it also grants mana after each kill. Because of the open wounds, some players keep it as a swap weapon even later, despite its other mediocre stats.
